North Sydney Sign
The original heritage listed “Welcome to North Sydney” archway and illuminated sign was constructed in 1935. Traditionally made in Neon, it has now been restored with modern LED lighting with a recent restoration, and is an iconic part of North Sydney and the entry to one of the most beautiful views of Sydney Harbour.
The sculpture is made from eco-friendly resin-plaster. All materials are sourced locally, made 100% in Sydney. Each model is framed using sustainably sourced Birch plywood and clear acrylic to reduce weight.

Each model is hand-cast in plaster with its own small deviations in colour and texture, including small inclusions in the plaster and air-bubbles in the cast.
